The dashboard & your projects

Where your day starts — action cards, active projects, and the project record that everything flows into.

Your home base is the dashboard in BaseCamp, the field portal. It's the first screen after login and it's built to answer one question: what needs me today?

The dashboard

  • For you today — action cards for the things waiting on you: supplier bills to approve, open RFIs, VOs awaiting approval, and your draft quotations. Red or amber means act.
  • Active projects — a count of every site currently in EXECUTION, HANDOVER or DLP.
  • Capture today — how many field notes you've logged today (Singapore time), linking straight to the capture stream.
  • Quick access — shortcut tiles grouped by workflow: sales (clients → quotations → projects), billing (VOs → claims → invoices → RFIs) and spend (shop → expenses → supplier bills).

The project record

Every site is a project, and it's the spine everything attaches to — captures, reports, RFIs, VOs, claims, suppliers and documents all hang off it.

When you create a project you set:

  • A project code (for example CON-2025-042), name and site address.
  • The client it's for.
  • The Project Manager and Lead Designer.
  • Commencement and projected completion dates.
  • Contract value, retention rate (in basis points — 500 = 5%) and GST rate.
  • Payment terms — the milestone schedule, e.g. "30% upon commencement".

A new project starts at ENQUIRY. The detail page then shows the live timeline, the contract sum including approved VOs, the Capture today entry point, and quick actions for reports, RFIs, VOs and materials.

note

You only ever see projects you're assigned to or created. If a site is missing, you haven't been added to its team — ask your Admin. Admins and Directors see everything.
