Demolition & Protection
The first trade on site — strip out the old, protect what stays, and set the stage for everyone after.
Electrical
The power and lighting backbone. First-fix goes in before walls and ceilings close; second-fix finishes the job.
Aircon
Cooling, ducting and condensate. First-fix pipework goes in early; the units are mounted and commissioned late.
Plumbing & Gas
Supply, waste and gas lines. First-fix pipework precedes tiling; fittings and testing finish the wet areas.
Flooring & Tiling
Screed, waterproofing and tiles. The wet-area workhorse that must follow plumbing first-fix and precede fit-out.
Partition & Ceiling
Drywall partitions and suspended ceilings that close up the space once the services are in.
Vinyl Flooring
Resilient dry-floor finishes laid late, on a clean and level substrate, after the messy trades are done.
Carpentry
The built-in joinery — wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, feature walls. Often the largest and most visible trade.
Window & Glass
Glazing, shower screens, mirrors and glass partitions — measured to the finished opening and installed mid-to-late.
Painting
Surface preparation and multiple coats. A messy trade that runs after the substrate is built and before delicate finishes.
Doorworks
Frames, leaves and ironmongery. Frames go in early with the partitions; leaves and hardware hang late.
Stone / Solid Surface
Worktops and vanity tops — templated to the installed carpentry carcasses, fabricated off-site, installed late.
Light & Sanitary Fittings
The second-fix finish line — light fittings, switches, sanitaryware and accessories that complete the space.
General Cleaning
The post-construction clean that turns a finished site into a handover-ready space.
Wallpaper
A delicate, near-final finish applied to clean, dry, fully prepared walls once the dusty work is over.
Curtains
The final trade — soft furnishings and window dressings fitted once the space is finished, clean and ready to hand over.
